The workshop was built in 2007 and was designed to harbor a pleasant and inspirational working atmosphere. It’s more of a home to us than a factory. The building is sound proofed from the inside so as not to disturb the peaceful surroundings with our noisy machines. We have a professionally equipped spray booth to ensure top quality finishing

Alexander Wildervanck

Alexander qualified with a M.Sc. in Chemistry in 1996. In the years after this he established his long time hobby as a woodworking business. He gradually grew the business together with his father-in-law Gert Myburgh who contributed with his excellent skill and professional workmanship. In 2010 Alexander attended a 6 week course at Williams and Cleal Furniture in the UK to learn veneering and parquetry techniques.

Marthinus previously worked 20 years for the SA mint as a toolmaker where he worked with high precision machinery. After that he joined “BJH Kiste” for 4 years where he built coffins. He has been with us for over 3 years now and has acquired excellent skills especially with our spray finishing.


Marthinus’ son worked on and off for us during his holidays in his school years. He’s now permanently employed and is becoming very skilled in all areas especially working with solid woods and traditional joinery. He attended a woodworking course at Milty’s Training Academy in 2009.
